O'Byrne and Walsh Cup provisional semi-final draws

Leinster Council has revealed the provisional draws for the O'Byrne and Walsh Cup semi-finals.
The second round for both competitions took place last night and both finals have been scheduled for Sunday, January 21st.
O'Byrne Cup semi-final draws:
Sunday, January 14th
1. Carlow/Meath/Wicklow v Kildare/Longford/Louth
Venue: Carlow/Meath/Wicklow
Time: 2.00pm
2. Laois/Westmeath v Dublin/Offaly/Wexford
Venue: Laois/Westmeath
Time: 2.00pm
Unlimited Substitutions will be allowed in these games from the panel of 26 submitted to the referee.
Extra time and Finishing on the Day if necessary (see below).
O'Byrne Cup final - 1 v 2: Scheduled for 21st January at 4.00pm in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise (weather permitting).
Double Header with the AIB All Ireland Intermediate Football semi-final at 2.00pm. Both games live on TG4 Unlimited Substitutions will be allowed in this game from the panel of 26 submitted to the referee.
For all of the above games, if sides finish level at the end of normal time extra time and finishing of the Day to apply (2 Periods of 10 Minutes Each Way).
Walsh Cup semi-final draws:
Sunday, January 14th
Walsh Cup semi-finals:
1. Offaly/Westmeath v Kilkenny/Kildare/Laois
Venue: Offaly/Westmeath
Time: 2.00
2. Antrim/Dublin/Meath v Carlow/Wexford/Wicklow
Venue: Antrim/Dublin/Meath (if Antrim - Leinster venue)
Time: 2.00pm
Walsh Cup final - 1 v 2 to take place on Sunday, January 21st (home venue for Winners 1).
*Unlimited substitutions will be allowed in these games from the panel of 26 submitted to the referee.
Extra time and Finishing on the Day if necessary (see below).
Extra time and finishing in the day:
Extra time to apply i.e. (10 Minutes Each Way) - Phase 1 (Phase 2 will not be in use) If Level after EXTRA TIME - a 'free taking competition' will decide the outcome - (Phase 3).
Full list of Regulations enclosed: Each team will nominate five players Frees will be taken by each of the five players from a position of their choosing on the 45 meter line in Football and 65 meter line in Hurling Frees in football may be taken from the hands or off the ground. Frees will be taken for points only with no goalkeeper/defenders facing the free takers. The game is awarded to whichever team scores more of their five frees. If still level then sudden death frees will be taken using the same five players in order. The sudden death element will continue until such time as there is definite outcome.
