Jesus boys isn't it just great that the buzz is back?!? I know I know that this good run has meant that a lot of so-called bandwagon supporters are back. But sure look isn't that a better situation than diehard fans going to matches and the team plodding along aimlessly like last year? I'd say there will be a cracking atmosphere Saturday week in Ballybofey. It is a match I'd be very wary of. It has ambush written all over it. Tyrone would love nothing better than to come into our patch again and take the Ulster champions down a peg or two. I'm sure Jim will get the boys right back down to Earth this week. We'll need to win it and follow the path of least resistance to the quarter finals. I doubt I'll get down to Cork, but the Clare match in a random neutral venue should be good craic.

Replying To legendzxix:  "Seems fair enough. Playing 4 rounds of league, a week off and then 4 more rounds of league will create the week off after the league finals that they are looking for. Rewarding provincial finalists with 2 home games is another straightforward enough incentive tweak for making provincial finals."
Actually, never mind - I found the 30-seconds odd video clip.

Good luck to the U20's tonight We are obviously a bit lighter upfront given absences but of course it gives others an opportunity to show what they can do There could be long senior careers in the pipeline for those coming through now, let's hope we see a few of them grab the nettle. Hoping for a good display from Davoren tonight as I feel on form he could really add something in the middle third, we are badly missing a player like that atm

Replying To cavanman47:  "Where will that Dublin v Mayo game be held? I mean, given that Dublin's home game v Rossies will be in Croker, it wouldn't be fair to play their neutral game there too. ."
It won't be in Croke Park. One less thing for you to toss and turn about at night. Why would it? I would imagine Thurles or Limerick. Preferably Thurles as Limerick I don't think suited Mayo last time? Might of course, depending on other plans for those venues be in a smaller midland venue or Cavan? It will be the biggest crowd demand for any of the group games I would think so 40,000 be perfect in one of first two.

Hopefully they go well. With the injuries I would have expected Rory Burke to go up the field and O'Donovan or O'Connor to come into the halfback line. Both good starters for the club at that line, but the management know best I'll be heading to Laois this evening and to Kilcormac at the weekend, hoping for 2 wins!

Cavan or Roscommon I'd say.

to be fair this is a great team on paper. id maybe suggest bringing in mccarville to play in the middle and free up lavelle to sweep...likely sacrificing jones/woods for that who can still make a big impact off the bench

O Toole has been very disappointing this yr in my opinion, thought mcphilips would have been a better candidate for that position, I'd try Irwin midfield with Mohan , on paper the complete panel seems strong , hopefully Ryan McAnespie is fit to play , it won't be easy but definitely doable if all clicks
