There was stuff running in the background at the time from memory, the club had a quick turnaround of managers, they found none of the appointments could fill one of fergies shoes let alone two, they sacked Moyes and that cost them 5 Million, omg, Ten Hag then comes along and tells Ronaldo his body is not in good shape, do something about it, he should take a look at some of his own failings.

Old red nose (Ferguson) stuck his ore in as usual and insisted on Ronaldo resigning for Utd instead of the rumoured move to City and the rest is history… His huge ego destroyed his 2nd stint there and along with Pogba were poison in the dressing room.. The club couldn't wait to get rid of both…!

I thought he was right to call out seriously falling standards in the club. It was the exact same as Roy Keane who was also right.

If they took him seriously they wouldn't have had their worst premier League finish ever.

There definitely was an old poster that used to insist on calling Ferguson "whiskey nose" right? Think they were from Cavan too

A awful lot of people call him "old whiskey nose" but no matter what he was called he made a bad judgment by getting Ronaldo back to the club…..Ten Hag had no choice but to dump him…!

I know a lot of people do, they're all the same type of character though

Monumental disaster if Casement Park does not host Euro soccer. Everybody was for moving forward except? Can we say Unionist veto? I honestly don't know. London-Dublin (Strand 3 of the 1998 Agreement) should move it forward. Fed up of the un-democratic nature of this whole fiasco.

If Casement is not available - how about Páirc Ui Chaoimh?
